Kanha National park, considered one of the best national parks in Asia, is located in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. This is the area in which Rudyard's Kipling's children's classic Jungle Book is set.

Covered in sal and bamboo forests, with ravines, streams and grassy stretches, Kanha provides a home to a significant number of tigers. The park is also known for successfully rescuing the swamp deer or Barasingha from the brink of extinction. Many other species of deer and birds can also be seen in Kanha national park.

Tour to Kanha Wildlife Sanctuary

The Sunset Point or Bamni Dadar in Kanha has to be visited for its stunning view. The sight of the sunset with the expanse of the national park before you, is truly breathtaking.

The best time to visit Kanha sanctuary is during the winter. Kanha is closed during the monsoon, from July to November.
